"Bank doesn’t currently support Instant Transfers" -- Nothing changed with bank?

I've used the same card for the entire time and have had this problem only once before and it seemed to be an actual glitch on PayPal's side, not my bank's. Anyone else having this problem again?

Yup.  Same problem here.  Transfer worked fine two days ago.  Today the debit card isn't an option, and if I try to relink it I get that error.  I called my bank and they verified they do indeed support instant transfers and there's nothing wrong with my account or debit card that should stop a transfer from processing.

I verified with my bank, too. I used the PayPal help chat and the representative suggested I try a different browser or clear my cache and confirmed that my card was still linked and didn't need re-linking. I explained I had tried both my desktop browser and the app and had the same problem. They said they would be reporting the glitch on their end, too, so we'll see. It may just be a waiting game for the problem to resolve, but it's stressful not knowing any realistic timeframe for when it could be resolved.

I opened a support ticket about it.  Nothing useful yet.  I'll try to remember to post back here if it gets resolved.

Do you happen to bank with 53 as well?  Support got back in touch with me and said it's definitely the bank.

I bank with SunTrust and spoke to someone in the digital banking department who says they get calls like that frequently and that they have changed nothing with their system.

 

Edited to add: just spoke to the chat help again and the rep confirmed it's a problem on PayPal's end and they're working on it.

yep, it's a problem on PP side.  they know about it.  it's effecting everyone.
