Adding a new bank account

I am adding a new bank account from another bank to my account.  I have entered the correct transit # for my bank which is 4 digits. The site insists in 5 digits!  I have also entered the correct 3 digit institution number and it refuses that too.

Hi Baldoonartist, and welcome to the forums!

According to the Canada Payments Association, branch numbers are all 5 digits. Does yours have a 0 at the beginning? I would recommend contacting your bank to make sure you have the correct number, if in doubt.
