I'm sorry of this is in the wrong forum but since I'm not buying or selling I wasn't sure what to do.
A friend in the US is planning on sending money to me to help with finances. We were trying to figure out what method to send the money that would be easy and have a quick turnaround. The money would be over $1000 Canadian coming from an American debit/credit account to a Canadian bank account.
Does anyone have experience sending either a large amount of money, or sending internationally to know how long this could take? If it's going to take too long then I won't have the money for my bills so we can't choose this method if it will take a lot of weeks.
