Hi, I would like to turn my eBay business over to a friend. We have already changed the name on the ebay account to his, and the bank account being used is his. Now we need to have the name on the Paypal account changed to his, while keeping it connected to the ebay account and store. How can we do this? Thanks in advance, Karenella

Per PayPal's Help Section:  it is not possible to change the name on your account to another person's name.

While you can't change the name on the account you can look at adding your friend to your account using the information below. You can select the permissions for your friend.

To add additional users and to manage their permissions, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your PayPal account at www.paypal.com

2. Click ‘Profile’ near the top of the page.

3. Click ‘Manage Users’ in the ‘Account Information’ column.

4. Click ‘Add User’.

5. Enter the user's name, a user ID (alias), and a password. The user will use this ID and password to log in to your PayPal account.

6. Check the box for each of the privileges you're allowing this user.

7. Click ‘Save’.

This should help, it's not the exact answer you need but it is a workaround to get what you need.
