Why is address unconfirmed?

I have had the same address for years and I have bought and sold stuff on ebay with that address.  Paypal has sent me stuff in the mail.  Yet my address remains unconfirmed.

I have the same issue. My account screen shows a confirmed address but another screen shows unconfirmed. I don't understand this one bit.

There was a scam in paypal system ! becareful ! I lost money alot with paypal scam ! still could not identify the real paypal and the scam paypal yet!!

the wedsite look very much  the same to the real paypal !

Welcome to the boards Sellingnow1982 and woodbrick!

Sellingnow1982--A confirmed address is one that matches the billing address for a credit card registered to your account.  So, if you have a credit card on your account, you would just want to double check to make sure the information matches the address on your PayPal account.

woodbrick--If you have your street address entered and confirmed on your PayPal account, and you have also entered the address seperately in your eBay account, you'll probably see the same address as two seperate options in your checkout.

If you make sure to select the PayPal instance of that address, it should show up as confirmed.  If you check your eBay settings and make sure that the PayPal address is the default shipping address, it should work going forward as well.

I edited your message to remove your address information, as we are unable to order a new PayPal card over the forums. 

Here are the instructions to help you out though 🙂

Here’s how to apply for the PayPal Extras MasterCard:

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click "Products & Services" near the top of the page.
3. Click "View All PayPal Products"
4. Click "PayPal Extras MasterCard."
5. Click "Apply Now."
6. Choose your card design and verify your contact information.
7. Enter your birth date and check the box to indicate you read the Terms and Conditions.
8. Click "Agree and Continue.”

I also have the problem of my address showing "unconfirmed"?  I thought it used to show "confirmed".  I have had the same address with ebay and paypal for years and although, I sometimes have items sent to an alternate address (to prevent my dogs from getting the items before I do ) my home address is showing "unconfirmed".  I don't understand this????

Same problem here. I've been using PayPal for years to send and receive payments and goods, and I'm sure my address was confirmed at one time. Now it says Unconfirmed. I haven't moved nor changed any profile settings in PayPal or eBay. The Help links I found in PayPal were useless. "Go to Resolution Center, Click on Resolve on the Action column of Begin a limitation review." Guess what? There's no Action column, nor, it seems, any way to resolve this issue. That's why I'm finally here. How can I get my address back to Confirmed that way is has been for years?
