what is a paypal email account address

i'm trying to sell things and it says that people can send the money to me if they know my paypal account address.... what is this.... is it the same email address I signed up with like my email is Lockingloops@........com.      Is that what I tell me customers to send the money too?

Hello lockingloops, 

Welcome to the Community .

When you send a money request to a customer you will be sending the request to your customers email address. When they pay the invoice the funds will go directly into your PayPal account. If you ask your customer to send you money, you are correct - you will give them the email address you used to set up your PayPal account.
