I make a computer cable product as a service to the Mac community to help revive old Apple G5 cases into PC's or homebrew Mac's. Because I don't make a whole lot of money on each cable, I try to keep my overhead as low as possible. That means ordering my supplies and parts JIT (boohoo the online electronics store does not take Paypal yet! I wish they did) and manufacturing the cables JIT.
I only accept payment from people who want them via Paypal. I get orders from around the globe and when I get a payment, I get an alert on my Android phone and I check payment via my Paypal Mobile app. The app is easy to see what was paid for and where and how they want it shipped. I do a screenshot of my phone with another app called ShootMe and then I send that file to my remote printer at home using PrinterShare.
When I get home from my day job I simply take the order off my printer and start working on the cable. Sometimes I can get all this done in the same day, including shipping. Now that is FAST and JIT. All this would not be possible without Paypal Mobile app. What a great experience and technology.
