Hi,
I'm using PayPal in the UK (personally, not for a business), and I want to know the difference between using a debit card and my bank account details with PayPal? Are they subject to any different fees (e.g. when sending money to people)? Is one safer or more convenient than the other?
Many thanks in advance.

Not a lot of difference apart from the fact if you add a bank account you set up the direct debit mandate in your online banking to enable you to pay sellers or any authorised payments that way.
Buyers don't pay fees but if you are sending a payment via the friends / family option it is free from any bank account funded source (UK > UK).

You can also verify your paypal account with either.
Having said that paypals buyer protection is not a 100% coverall so personally I always fund my paypal payments via a credit card as that gives and extra layer of protection.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
