Euro to Pound conversion ...

I've just purchased an item from a seller in the EU. The cost was 272 Euros [including postage]. The total in pounds was £245. I checked the current exchange rate and this seemed correct at time of purchase.

However, I've just checked with my bank and PayPal have taken £258, £13 more than the current exchange rate.

I can't contact them just now as they're closed. Does anyone have any idea why they've added on this charge?

Thanks.
