I am trying to sell some gym equipment online. I promptly got an email from someone willing to buy having seen only the online photos. What I am receiving exactly fits the sort of scam I have learned about via Google. Also, the name of the buyer is female but the tone of the text is male. I doubt if the person really want the item I have for sale a it is low value. I am supposing he wants to hack my PayPal account. I suspect the PayPal account he will use is one already hacked. People often include one of their names in personal email addresses but this person does not.
I intend to ignore the buyer but I would like to know if he can hack me if I give him what he asks which is my PayPal address? I am guessing that he will claim there have been problems and that he needs more information.
