Hey. I’m new to PayPal and making a large purchase for one item online. I’ve verified the bank account it is linked to. It’s a bank account, not credit card. Is this payment instant when I buy this item? Does the money get removed from the account once I’ve made the payment or does it take a few days?
Ive tried looking up the subject but no luck
Thanks in advance.

Transfers from bank accounts are never instant, that is why when you buy something paypal credit the seller for you and paypal take the wait for the funds to transfer to pay them back again, this is so you get your item without delay.
Takes several working days to transfer as Paypal use the slowest (cheapest) transfer option BUT funds normally leave your bank account from a few hours up to a few days later.
Paypal will credit the seller if you...
1. Pay with a bank account but have a back up linked card attached to your account as well.
2. Pay via a card.
They 'may' make you take the wait if you 'only' have a linked bank account.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
