No response from PayPal using message centre in a week

Has anyone got a response from an actual person using the message centre in the last week?

 

After getting past the bot chat it says I will be replied to by an actual person (or words to that effect) within a few hours. One week later and nothing.

I too have the same issue.  No response and my account is under limitation but I have no idea why!  I have customers asking about their orders, yet I cannot access the funds in paypal because they have limited it and there is no one to speak to.  I have sent all the relevant documentation, but still nothing.

Think they are inundated especially with no phone option.

Anything we can advise on here?

I'm guessing not Borgs, other than perhaps providing information as to why they are seemingly unable to answer queries on the Message centre for the past few days.  I understand the lower staff numbers, but like all of us, we are working from home and I am sure they are able to also.

I am in danger of losing several sales, as well as a reputational loss as I am unable to fulfil all of the orders received due to Paypal not allowing me to withdraw funds.  All the documentation they requested has been provided, yet still nothing and the fact I am unable to speak to anyone about it doesn't fill me with confidence right now.

Thanks for the replies. I closed my original ticket and opened a new one but still not getting any response. Waste of my time - I give up.

🙄I can't understand what is happening.  Do you have a contact telephone number?

I eventually got contacted after quite a number of days. No contact number I'm afraid. I'm not a seller so, in light of the extremely poor customer service right now, I'm not going to use PayPal at all.  I have recently contacted other companies and got through in a matter of minutes so if other companies can do it I don't see why PayPal can't.

I've also been waiting for an answer. My problem is a dispute involving goods paid for but not received. I want to escalate to a claim before I'm out of time, but not able to get any response. Frustrating. PayPal used to be so trustworthy.
