Paying People on Offerup through Paypal

If I pay someone directly through paypal such as through family and friends instead of on the app Offerup. Is there any way to get my money back if it indeed is a scam and the seller does not ship the item?

Nope never send as family always when its a company sending money pay invoices never as family or friend. Legit companies will never ask to send money that way.
