It says withdrawal of USD to a bank in USA is free. Is it because its Transferwise then PayPal is charging a premium 3% ? That is not right.

Its free if you have a US PayPal account linked to a US bank account. Not free or no longer free if you have a Non-US PayPal account linked with a US bank account. Guess to many Non-US users as opposed to US users overseas glomming on to this loophole and they put the kibosh on it.

I am not sure why it's considered a loophole?

I pay PayPal over 3% on all US customer sales.

If I have to pay another 3% to withdraw my money that make it over 6% for all my US sales. But only around 3% for UK sales.

There is no loophole here. PayPal should simply not be charging extortionate fees for withdrawal.

Support PayPal dropping the new 3% extra fee for withdrawal to virtual banks (TransferWise / Revolut etc). Non-US freelancers receiving USD are now subject to an extra 3% fee or very, very poor PayPal exchange rates…
