Sale pending notification?

Good morning,

I have a lady who wishes to buy a wedding dress from me and have it shipped.  She said she paypaled me the money but I won’t see anything pended until I show proof of shipment.  Doesn’t feel right.  Shouldn’t PayPal show it’s pending shipment so I know it’s been submitted for me??  Thanks

Your gut feeling is absolutely correct. If you received the payment, it would show in your PayPal balance. In some situations, the payment can be placed on a Funds Availability Hold, which means we hold the money until the item is delivered. However, you'll still see the transaction details within your PayPal account. If you don't see the payment anywhere in your PayPal account, please do not ship the item. If needed, you can reach customer support by clicking Contact and then "Call Us" at the bottom of the PayPal website. Support is also available through Facebook instant message or Twitter direct message.
