Hi,
I run a small distribution company, and we were looking to sell on OnBuy, as we saw that some US sellers were selling in the UK, and thought we should be doing this ourselves. They take payments via Paypal, and in the process of opening an account with them, they asked for our Paypal password. I'm not technology wizkid, but I thought this might not be such a great idea, so when I asked them why they needed it, they gave me this response:-
You will need to connect you PayPal with our systems, that way you will be able to take orders and process refunds all through OnBuy.
Is this legit?
Many thanks for any information.
Jo

Hi there, I apologize for the slight delay in our response. Your PayPal password should be kept private at all times. By giving somebody your PayPal password, you are effectively giving them access to your PayPal account. Having a secure, unique password is extremely important to keep your account safe.
