How do you find separate shipping costs and fees for your taxes?

I have a business account tied to my website shopping cart. Paypal collects the sale plus shipping cost and deducts a fee to process the order. They do a good job and I'm happy. I downloaded my 2019 reconciliation statement and 1099 form which seem to show total gross fees collected without deducting the shipping cost and Paypal fees.
I have a question which Paypal HELP CHAT answers with cut and paste text that doesn't address the problem. Where can I find the totals for all shipping charges collected and Paypal fees for the year to claim as business expenses to offset the reported 1099 sales total? Otherwise the IRS will charge a tax on the full amount of the 1099 - including shipping and fees as sales income.

You create/download a report of the activity, open it up in a spreadsheet, edit to taste and tally it up:
Report > Activity Download
Select Transaction type, date range, customize report fields, and report format.
You know how to use the Sum() function on spreadsheets, right? If, not:

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

Thanks @sharpiemarker. I'm still not getting it. I'm a total newbie. "Report>Activity>All Transactions>Payments received" shows "Payment/Gross/Fee/Net/Action" but does not show shipping charges. To find the shipping charge, I go into the individual order details one order at a time. I was hoping to find a separate listing for all postage/shipping charges collected by Paypal. I looked under "All transactions" tab choices to customize my report but do not see a listing that includes shipping charges. Your link is useful for totaling the Paypal gross/fee/net columns but where can I find a column of shipping charges?

This is very frustrating. I downloaded the information and cannot simply "sum" the shipping column because the report repeats the shipping amount in the additional row showing the tax deduction. There needs to be a separate column for taxes only, a separate column for shipping and a separate column for PayPal fees.
PayPal needs to create a simple tax transaction report for Ebay sellers
