I want to set up a Money Pool so friends can donate money to help a friend severely affected by the govt shutdown. My understanding is that a Money Pool on PayPal is free, can be anonymous, and 100% of the funds will be collected and distributed, correct? (As opposed to GoFundMe, which takes a percentage). Is there a way to then transfer the Money Pool to the designated friend in need, anonymously if possible? Thanks for help!

Hi @Nutsbolts,
Welcome to our Community,
First of all, I commend you for this act of kindness and solidarity. You will find all you need to know about our MoneyPool product here. Unfortunately, we don't have the option to anonymously send funds to the recipient using PayPal. I am sure once you exit the funds to your bank you can send cash or a cashiers check.
Thanks
Martin
