4. How much are PayPal charges if someone from US send me money on my PayPal account & who will pay the charges sender or receiver?
5. I have added a Jamaica Phone number on my PayPal account and I am trying to verify the number but unfortunately I am not getting the verification code sms What could be the isssue. I am sure its not from my network as I am getting overseas sms.
I will appreciate your response as soon as possible.

1. Does PayPal have a tie-up with Bank of Nova Scotia in Jamaica so I can withdraw Funds to my Bank Account? If yes then are there any fees?
I have found a one site from 2013 that says PayPal has partnered with Bank of Nova Scotia but who knows if that is still in effect.
*Jamaica PayPal only accept withdrawals to US based bank accounts or via check according to this:
https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_display-country-functionality-outside
If you have a PayPal balance, log into your PayPal account to see which of these withdrawal options are available in your country/region:
- transferring it to a bank account linked to your PayPal account; or
- transferring it to your debit or credit card, where available; or
- requesting a physical cheque through the mail, where available.
Depending on the country/region in which your account is registered, you may be able to withdraw your funds through a third party service provider. Please see terms of such third party for information regarding currency conversions.
2. Can I withdraw funds to my USD Currency Debit Card linked to my PayPal account. if yes then are there any fees?
There is no card withdrawal for Jamaica.
3. If I use my PayPal Balance to shop online on websites likes Amazon or eBay, are there any fees that I will have to Pay on those transactions?
No.
4. How much are PayPal charges if someone from US send me money on my PayPal account & who will pay the charges sender or receiver?
Recipient is charged PayPal fee. Fees per transaction 5.4% + 0.30 USD
If your monthly sales exceed 3,000 USD and you created your PayPal account more than 90 days ago, login and apply for our preferred rates
5. I have added a Jamaica Phone number on my PayPal account and I am trying to verify the number but unfortunately I am not getting the verification code sms What could be the isssue. I am sure its not from my network as I am getting overseas sms.
Not sure why but not every service provider accept verification codes for various reasons. Perhaps a certain type of service (wireless vs free or premium) can accept verification codes. May need to speak with your service provider about that for more information. Some may still do when officially they don't because somehow its not gotten through their filters/blocking.
Plus its not necessary to have sms features in order to use PayPal. Just load up the PayPal app to get push notifications and send/receive money from. Set your mobile phone number to "Home" or add a landline instead and login with only email address and a strong but memorable password.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

I am also residing in Jamaica and have the same challenges you had. Did you find a workaround or solution to receiving money from your PayPal balance?
