Hi there,
I just purchased a laptop using PayPal Credit. It's my first time using any sort of finance payment method, so I'm new to this and a bit nervous.
The company in question offers 0% interest for an extended period of months. Sure enough, my PayPal receipt to the company shows that I spent £849.99 on the laptop, and the bottom of the receipt breaks this down into '24x £35.42 GBP at with no interest'.
However, I have just received an e-mail from PayPal saying that I'm now enjoying the benefits of PayPal credit, which includes an offer of 0% interest for 4 months. I'm confused -- I contacted PayPal over the phone, but the person I spoke to kept breaking up -- am I to assume that the e-mail I just received from PayPal is separate to the offer I received when buying the laptop? The only reason I was able to purchase was because of the 0% interest thing...
Furthermore, I also paid £6.95 GBP for next day delivery when making the purchase, which isn't included in the 24 payment breakdown. When will I pay this? If everything is indeed alright, the last thing I'd be wanting is to be paying interest on the delivery payment!
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
