New rewards program

I'm a digital scrapper and used to be able to use my reward vouchers at various digital scrapping sites.  Confused now if I can do this anymore .... gift stores for "select" merchandise .... please help me!

I used to use the $7 Ebay shipping rewards voucher every month because it was only 1200 points but now the lowest Ebay voucher is 3800 for $25 and that used to only be 2500 points.  I already have all these rewards choices with my other credit card rewards programs.  Paypal just gets less and less unique and just gave me a reason to not use their card.  Lame.

To see how you can redeem your reward point follow these steps:

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click "PayPal Extras MasterCard."
3. Click “View Card Details.”
4. Click “Rewards” on the right hand side.
5. The next screen will show you your available points and your redeemable options. Select your reward and click "Continue."
6. A Rewards Selection page will pop up to confirm your points, click "Continue."
7. You will be taken to the Loyalty Innovations website to redeem your points.

I had been looking and looking to see how to spend 2500 points for $25.00 towards an ebay purchase I just made only to find out that it has been changed. 

What good is a rewards program change that now gives you less than it did?  To get $50. in cash into PayPal will take me 6000 points.

I have other cards that give me 1% minimum, and the cash back on here now is less than that.  I'm going to cancel this card that I have had since it first began many, many years ago and say goodbye to this farce of a rewards program.  I do not want to purchase other items on a list, I do not travel, and also have heard the gift cards also take more points.

Yes, total rip-off.  Way to go.  I have another card I generally use for eBay as it's giving me 3% back and is doubling my point and it's pure cash right into my bank. 

Dumb, dumb move for PayPal credit card.  You deserve to lose many loyal customers.

Last month I had 9450 reward points, 50 short of $100. cash back ,this month earned 400 more points went to redeem points and now they only want to give me $50. BIG RIP-OFF !!! I still can't personalize my card with a picture and they refuse to give any answers to inquiries or respond to e-mails. They don't  seem to care about there customer base at all.

Hi,  I'm new to the rewards program and was wondering if there was a way to turn the rewards points into cash.  I noticed that they will give you $50 cash back as a credit  in your paypal account, but is there a way to get the cash from there?  They said I couldn't send a payment to myself.  Can I just transfer the money from the paypal account to my bank account?  Or over to the mastercard account.   Thanks in advance.

Thanks to everyone who posted feedback about the new rewards program.  I was thinking it would be nice to get the credit card through PayPal and take my current credit card out of the profit loop when I buy on ebay.  From what I've read here, I guess I'll stick with my current arrangement.
