PyPal extra Mastercard and Smart Connect

I recently applied for an PayPal Extra Mastercard. I called PayPal to see if I had been approved and the representitive said yes. Then I go online to check my email and I have an email that says I have been approved for PayPal Smart Connect! Wrong! I wwant a credit card. I want to be able to utilize it at physical locations. I understand Smart Connect is for buying online only.

You can apply for a debit card to attach to your smart connect...

how does the paypal debit card work? i have had the same problem...

A debit card is not a credit card. I applied for a credit card I could walk into a store with, and I got a smart connect. bait and switch doesn't cover this nonsense.

Ok so how does one do this? I was approoved for 500.00 and have no idea how to use it.

I want the Extra MasterCard but I have Smart Connect: why is this an impossibility? I don't understand how this was solved.

Same thing happened to me. And same as below when I tried to get the credit card it says you can't have one as you have a smart connect.
