I have seen where many others have had this same problem, but no one has gotten a fix. I have been told by Paypal plus (GE Money) that it's not their problem -- Paypal.com has to fix it. Paypal.com says it's not their problem, Paypal Plus Credit Card has to fix it. One said that it's supposed be fixed on Oct 3rd and another says Oct 31st. One said they've not heard there's a problem, another said that they've heard it's because paypal hasn't uploaded files they need to upload. Everyone blames everyone else or says it's not a problem - yet we can't access our reward points, check for fraudulent activity, or pay on our balance.
Doesn't *anyone* out there know what's going on and when it's going to be fixed?

I called the credit card company today because they told me my account info would be back up yesterday. It's not. They said that they are waiving the $15 fee to set up a payment over the phone because of the problem with the Paypal site. I was told that it could take up to 7-10 days (they told me that 2 months ago, too), because Paypal's having trouble linking the credit card and paypal accounts.
I'd just like to hear someone from Paypal (NOT the credit card company which is giving me more info) what the deal is and when they think they'll have it fixed instead of "it's not our fault, call the credit card company."

I've called two more times since my last post above. The first time I was told that it would only be a couple of days because the guy was walking the information directly over to the lady's desk who was manually connecting the accounts right then as we were on the phone. The second time I called on Nov 26 (because walking my info to the desk obviously didn't change anything), the guy said, "I see you just called a few moments ago." Nope. "OH, you're right, you didn't call. It's where they sent a note saying that your account couldn't be reconnected so now it's going to have to be done manually." Duh, that's what they keep telling me. Guess the trip to the desk didn't help. "It's going to be 5-10 days and then you will be set." Right. That's what I've heard for 3 months now.
Paypal Amanda, Paypal Adrian, and others have been remarkably silent on this issue. What's up , guys? No answer?

My PayPal credit card has not been visible on the PayPal page for months. I have called and called. I get the same response, " We are sorry. Your problem will be resolved in 7 days". They can lie with a straight face!!!!! I do a lot of business on eBay and with other places accepting PayPal. I would very much like to use my PayPal credit card for purchases. About 2 weeks ago, the card showed up on the PayPal page. It was gone in 5 days! Now I must rely on the telephone for account balances for the purchases. How does this fit in anyones security plan? I will hardly know if there is fraud with my account. This whole issue proves without a doubt that PayPal lacks any form of professionalism or even has any sort of business plan. Bottom line, I am **bleep** and I am tired of dealing with people who can barely speak English, If I hear "it will be fixed in 7 days" I may just throw up all over this useless credit card. People need to know the issues involved with the PayPal credit card BEFORE they apply for one. Believe me, I tell all of my friends about the problems.

Hi folks,
I'm sorry that this has gone so long without a response. I understand that several of you have been having issues with the link between your PayPal Extras MasterCard and your PayPal account. If you call the number on the back of your card (or you can get the number here), your report can reach the people who manage the link. Let them know if the card showed up previously and stopped showing up, or if it's never shown up at all.
I hope this helps!

No, this doesn't help at all. The only way to find out your balance is to call them.
But the key issue here is being able to view and pay your bill online. It's been almost
1 week since I got my new PayPal extras credit card and still it hasn't shown up
online.
Demand to have the $15.00 pay by phone ripoff charge removed next time you need
to pay your bill. That worked for me last time I had to pay my bill, actually I mailed out
a check to their address in Orlando,FL, but I got nervous since it was 2 days before
the payment due date and I made a payment over the phone(the rep was nice and
apologized to me)

The phone numbers are totally useless unless you want to talk to "Peggy" in India. In this day and time, it should not be that hard to link accounts so they would be visible on the internet. I really think $15 is not enough penalty. Perhaps it is time to consult one of the problem solver television stations. Houston has a great one, channel 11. I'm sure they would love to tackle the fraud, poor business practice, and $15 late charges we are seeing. Maybe "Peggy" has a friend in Bangladesh who could help too. This is so frustrating. You would think PayPal would be interested in our business. Apparently not.

Forget calling that number. All you will get is "Peggy" in India. I already know the number by heart. Waste of time!!!!!!

BTW, on the calling issue....I call every week. It has been an absolutely total waste of my time. Hold times are sometimes 30 minutes or more. I was on the phone over 1 hour this past monday. Apparently no records are kept on calls as I must invent the wheel each time I call. I don't see that I have an issue with the link. I think PayPal has the issue. I have no way to change the link software, if I could I would and I would do it right. Yes, I do software. I am very frustrated with this poor business practice, apparent lack of concern for security, and the fraud involved in charging late fees when we have no access to the account. If anyone should sink so low and get a PayPal card, they better not drop the mailed billing. You will be in for late fees and the inability to not know when a bill is due and for how much. Yes, you can call unless you are like me. I know I owe but when calling they do not now have my account linked properly to the telephone. What a waste of good electricity!!!!
