My Previous #FreelanceWorkstation Used To Give Me Electric Shocks
This week I am doing work in my home. No travelling, so I am nooked up in a corner of the living room trying to find jobs to help pay the bills.
I started doing freelance work as a virtual assistant. Later on a graphic designer, video editor, audio editor, content creator, html editor, voice actor, and just about anything related to media. It is always difficult to get consistent work that I had to learn to do different tasks as well.
I have a Macbook. I prefer it as I have had clients, who demanding mac compatible files and output. But I didn't always have a shiny laptop. In fact, my previous computer had to be taped up on one side like it was a Frankenstein monster complete with the electricuting opened corner. The tiny electrical shocks it gave me did help me stay awake though. Hahaha! But currently making ends meet and catching up on payments for the new laptop I have in the photo.
Here near a window, ample sunlight keeps me awake while I work on top of a simple foldable plastic table. The space is enough and the height is adjustable so it is perfect with whatever I am sitting on, even if I was on the floor.
A tonne of colored coded post-its help me create reminders for different types of tasks, even a separate color for my personal to-dos. Without these, I would be all over the place.
Today was perfect, my coffee and salad was picture-perfect too. Need the caffeine buzz while I try to eat healthier so i can concentrate on my tasks better.
Life of a freelancer is not bound to a routine. One needs to rely on good equipment that may cost an arm but if you need these to be able to work efficiently, go for it. It is unpredictable and can be frustrating. But I love it because it is as exciting as getting tiny electrical shocks.
XD
Hope you like the story of my #FreelanceWorkstation .
Regards,
Shaun

What Makes My #FreelanceWorkstation Special
It's a privilege to join everyone to showcase my #FreelanceWorkstation - which I called it an "Armory To Good Deeds"!
Being a missionary internet marketer, freelancing has been a blessing to me on being a channel in painting smiles to kids in the villages of Northern Philippines by sharing the Word.
With the profits I'm gaining as being a freelancer, it makes me and my team able to not only share the Word but act on the Word by sharing the love through basic school supplies distribution and at times used clothing.
Whenever we see the joy in the kids' faces and even their parents and to realize that we have been a help in one way or the other - that keeps us working hard for a better cause. As we strive to work hard for a better cause, it reflects on the quality of work we deliver to our clients - and that keeps us earning consistently - which is made possible by Paypal by breaking the barriers of inconvenient payment processing with its instantaneous and affordable fees and a preferred payment method by clients.
As we work hard for good deeds, we make it to the point of not forgetting the reason why we work and who we work for - and that is driven by a vision board on our wall (as in the photo) to keep us going no matter the obstacles are.
Would love to share my FB page if you want to be a part on our cause - but not sure if posting links is against the terms - but feel free to reply and would love to have sharing with you guys! 😉

I draw anime-style art on my Cintiq, and have two main monitors (one laptop) which I use to multitask or put reference works on to help.
All the stacks of books on the right are art books for my interest and references.
I have a figurine model on the left to help with my drawing's anatomy.
Because my net is weak, I often change places to work (need the net), but they pretty much end up looking the same as the picture.

Presenting my second photo for minimalist workstation for this week. This is my workplace when Im using my iMac. Basically, I do graphic designs' work here. As you can see I am really a minimalist person, I love neutral colors. Seeing this clean space makes me want to start my day. 🙂 I am very detailed person. I uploaded a photo already earlier but it makes me think that I want you to see more of me by uploading another picture. By the way, I don't have any fur here because I have a soft mouse pad on this area. Do you notice? I love the color rose gold! Since apple introduce it, I fell inlove with it. I became more imaginative when Im working in this area. Simple but classy area 🙂
Note: I am using glasses when I am using iMac since screen is bigger and it's retina display than my Mac so I need to protect my eyes.
