I miss my phone in this pic. It has a role as shooter for my daily companions; a pocket, 10 GB internet prepaid card, one of design book trilogy, -1.5 glasses, Evoque diecast, a mouse, 8% caffeine white coffee, and 13" ZenBook. Yes, on May 2015 i decided to resign from my nine years job and focus as a self-employed editorial designer.

This is my workstation. It's located in the corner of my home office / toy room. Took a while to get everything setup the way it is now. Monitors came from a surplus IT equipment supplier (They're 9 years old!) while the desk was bought as excess parts from a call center equipment supplier. I had to figure out (with a help of a friend) which parts would fit to build a working cubicle. It's not perfect, but it's my little frankenstein.

This is the best "Workstation" I've ever had since I started working. I was able to help my precious daughter to do her activity and yet was able to complete my task at the same time. Best feeling ever! Giving attention to your daughter and yet practice your profeesion!! 🙂

Being a freelancer and working from home is having it's own challenge. Keeping the moods good is key for an good and efficient work. And one of things that can keep my mood in a good shape is having an organized workstation. Though I am not the master of tidying up, I try my best to have a clean, nice, resourceful workstation.
But sometimes, the workload is just out of my capacity. Small break is what I need, by a reading collection of many good books. From spiritual book to fantasy novel, from Rumi's Matsanawi to The Lord of The Rings. All ready to be enjoyed while doing a quaility break.
In the end, It's not about how organized your workstation is, how powerful your RIG is, or even how instragamable your workstation is, the main thing is, it is cozy for me and makes me comfortable doing my work.
Good Day #PaypalFreelancer!
