Integrating Gravity Forms for subscriptions - error

Hello,

I'm setting up recurring subscription payments to a WordPress site using Gravity Forms and the Add-on called PayPal Checkout. I'm using this plugin because I can easily integrate it with the MailChimp list on the website. However I get stuck at the step of connecting to PayPal, and just see this error:

We aren't able to approve your application at the moment.

You can reapply in 90 days from the date of your previous application. In the meantime, you can still use your PayPal business account to send and receive money.

That really doesn't give me any information about what went wrong and what to do about it. It is a PayPal business account that has been in use for maybe 10 years or more.

Any advice?

I would suggest to please contact our PayPal Customer service via link - https://www.paypal.com/au/smarthelp/home (then choose at the bottom one of the contact methods - email or phone) who should be able to help you regarding the request.

They will be able to assist you further as they are specially trained to address this type of account inquiry.
