Redirecting customers to PayPal for payment

Many years ago I had integrated my multi-client e-comm solution to work with PayPal. Things worked well in the beginning and it was a fine solution. As I grew the solution my client base required more of a traditional merchant service offering, and my PayPal solution got stale. Now some eight years later I would like to reintroduce PayPal as a payment option and quite frankly am feeling a little overwhelmed with the best way to make it work again.
The original solution I developed simply redirected my clients' customers to a PayPal hosted payment page with payment details. The customer could then select to pay with PayPal or pay with a Debit/Credit card. There was an option to either complete payment or cancel. Either option would return my clients' customer back to the originating website with the appropriate PayPal response.
My question is, does PayPal still offer a solution that allows me to redirect customers to PayPal for payment and then send them back when payment is complete, and where can I find the implementation details?
