Splitting incoming funds from payments between PayPal accounts

Dear Experts !
Can you help with this?

I wanted to know if it is possible to automatically (via API / the PayPal merchant account setup) to split a payment I receive between myself and another merchant, which is also a PayPal customer. If this is possible, could you please explain how this can be achieved? thanks !
I know "adaptive payments" used to have solutions for this scenario, but since its 'deprecated' - what API / service replaced it?

Thank you for posting to the PayPal community.

Unfortunately, we no longer onboard Adaptive applications as the product has been deprecated for several years.

PayPal Commerce Platform for Marketplaces and Platforms product is a replacement of Adaptive payments, which serves the similar product experience. 

For LIVE PayPal Commerce Platform for Marketplaces and Platforms integration, I would suggest to please fill the PayPal Marketplace application via below link.

Once applied, relevant department will be reviewing your business details and contact you directly.
