Using Zettle for payment terminal in Shopify

Hi -  we have two storefronts on Shopify - including online and POS. We want to continue using Shopify, but Shop Pay does not allow us to do tobacco purchases as part of policy. So in our POS store, we have been using Zettle on a separate tab from the Shopify - basically ringing them up and creating the order in Shopify, clicking on external credit card, then going into Zettle with the order total and doing the transaction. I did the integration with Shopify on Zettle, but it looks like our orders if we start them in Zettle will not bridge over? Like if I create new a transaction in Zettle, not going to integrate with Shopify? I want to be able to do everything in Shopify - was hoping Zettle integration was just a payment option at the checkout cart, then scan the card on the Zettle reader, and be done with it.
