By online using my bank account in Japan

Hi, I want to buy online using Paypal, but I have no Credit or Debit Card, so I linked to my japanese bank account and confirmed. By the way, I linked and confirmed 2 japanese bank accounts, because I've living in Japan.

But when I try to purchase a good online using paypal, I am not able to choose as payment method, my bank account, the only option are gave me are Credit or Debit cards...

So I've tryied to add money from my bank account to Paypal account and I got the following message: -We're sorry, we couldn't add funds from this bank account. Do you want to try a different one?

I tried the second account and I got the same error message...

So, if I click Yes to another method, the options are gave me was AGAIN, credit cards...

Is there a way to buy online overseas, using Paypal and pay direct with my bank account?

The reason you're not able to add funds into your PayPal account is because Personal accounts in Japan are not able to have an account balance. Having a balance is only available for Business accounts.

As for not being able to send payments from your linked bank accounts. Since you have two bank accounts linked, I'm going to post a link on how to set one of the accounts as the primary account.

From this PayPal link there will be a list of your available funding sources. Select which default account you want to pay from and select confirm.

If these suggestions don't allow your bank account to be used as a funding source, you should contact PayPal support. I'll link their phone number.
