As mentioned about, I signed upto @eharmony found the service very different to what was described. Was no visibly matched on personality just through a number. No evidence of what we had in common.

Cancelled membership in 36 mins can prove this. No refund offered but they canceled my membership. What are my actual rights being here in the UK?
Check if you had a subscription set up and cancel that as well. Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > "manage pre-approved payments''.
Paypal can't do anything to get back any payments you made voluntarily but yes you may have rights under UK distant selling laws but you would need to take private action ie small claims court to pursue those if the company does not voluntarily refund you.
