Case Sensitive email when receiving payments

Hi! 

Just curious if PayPal emails are case sensitive (lower and capital letters) when sending or receiving payments? 

Will it affect on sending and receiving payments?

I hope all is well. The e-mail address is not case sensitive. Upper and lowercase letters will not affect you sending and receiving the payment.
