How do I refund a pending payment made by a buyer who changed his mind. His payment is yet to be available and would last 21 days but I want to refund the money back. How do I do this?

Hi MunaMinaj,
Thank you for contacting the PayPal Community Forum.
You can issue a full refund or partial refund up to 180 days after you receive a payment.
Here’s how to refund a payment:
- Go to www.paypal.com and log in to your account.
- Click Activity near the top of the page.
- Click Details next to the payment you want to refund.
- Click Issue a refund.
- For ‘Refund amount,’ enter the amount you want to refund, then click Continue.
- Review the information and click Issue Refund.
Tip:
- You can refund a payment when its status is ‘Completed,’ ‘Pending,’ ‘Cleared,’ or ‘Uncleared.’
- If you refund a payment we will only retain the fixed fee. Click ‘Fees’ at the bottom of the page to view variable and fixed fees.
