I have one customer who mistakenly sent me payments of $600, three times. Those are all in pending status from her checking account. I can't figure out how to reverse those to her and she needs the money.
Thanks!

Sounds as if she paid via an echeque.
Go to Account Overview > History > Find the relevant payment > Details > Cancel Payment under ‘Cancel this eCheque payment’ > Review the information and include a message to buyer > Cancel Payment.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Thank you sincerely for the clear reply on this query. I've tried to follow your instructions, but nowhere in my account can I find "Account Overview" to begin the process. Could it be called something else?
I've also tried to hack into the middle of the recommended process by searching the word "History," but that doesn't turn up anything useful.
When I'm in the general Activity tab, of course, I see all recent transactions, and I can click on each of these three e-check transactions. But in that field, at least, I'm still stuck without any option to Cancel.
Please advise.

Try just clicking on her transaction in your transaction list and it should be on the details page.

Thank you again. I'm afraid I've gone through every single character under Details, in each of the three transactions, and there is no Cancel anywhere. I'm assuming it is because they are all in "Pending" status until June 1, but it is incredibly frustrating to be unable to manage my money, which is what PayPal exists to do.
It would also be great if PayPal would pick up the damn phone and offer some actual HELP to its clients in exchange for all our fees. I've been on hold for more than two total hours over three separate phone calls, without ever hearing a human being.
I guess since they're the only game in town for this service, they probably figure they can **bleep** the little guys and leave it all up to helpful community members to try and solve problems that are really PayPal's responsibility.
I'm venting, now. I do appreciate your time and help.
