How to get a refund of money?

I sent money to a person for a football league and found out today that the person has passed away and no one has access to her account. How do I get my money back?

Would help if you said how you sent the funds ie friends/family OR goods/services + what it says next to the transaction in your paypal account.

Hi, yes. It was sent friends and family.

If its marked as SENT then its completed through to the account so best to ask the executor to access her account and refund the payment back to you.

That’s the problem, she has passed away so I can’t ask her to refund.
