PayPal Payment from my UK business Tide Debit card reversed instantly - Help needed please!

Dear All,
I've been using my personal paypal account successfully for several years now, and have always been able to transact in the ways that i want to without any problems using 4 different cards in the UK for all kinds of goods and services.
One of those cards is a business debit card belonging to Starling online bank to a UK incoroprated company upon which I'm sole director.. and this works just fine in my paypal account.
I've recently added my Tide *Debit* card... which again belongs to another UK incorporated compony upon which I'm sole director, but when I tried to make a payment with it via paypal yesterday, the transaction was immediately reversed by PayPal. I have no idea as to why. The party to which I was trying to make the payment confirmed to me that it was not them who reveresed the payment and they would have been happy to take the payment.
[Please note that I've put Debit inside asterisks above, which is what the card is supposed to be, but here on paypal it lists as a "Prepaid Card" - perhaps this is a contributing problem also?]
There are more than sufficient funds in the Tide account for the payment i was trying to make. The payment was for the sum of 2200.00 GBP, and so perhaps its the amount thats the problem? I have read several times how to check for limitations on my paypal account, which indicated to go to the resolution center and click on a certain option about account limitations. I can find nothing at all in the resolution center whilst logged in about anything to do with my paypal account limitation.
I have also checked with the Tide online bank, and specifically my own limits for the account from which I'm trying to make a paypal payment. I have a monthly card limit of 50K GBP.
I have just this morning also tried to send the sum of 10.00GBP (ten pounds sterling) from the Tide account to my PayPal account, using the Account number, Sort code and specific long alpha-numeric payment reference string... The £10 was sent to my PayPal, and then my PayPal account reversed the transaction to send back to the Tide account.
Can anyone please advise if and how any of these problems can be rectified so that I can transact successfully with PayPal using my Tide card?
