PayPal not working on Target.com

In checkout at Target.com, for a pick up order, I chose the past but PayPal option. This brings me to the PayPal page, and I chose my credit card. Now it goes back to the checkout page, but says that there was an unexpected error with PayPal. Both Target and PayPal blame each other. Any one else experience this?
