PayPal still wants Yodlee after I “manually” add my account WTF?

Hey all— I’m extremely frustrated with PayPal right now... I recently got a new checking account at a local credit union, and used Yodlee to add it — they verified it and it was good. I then used it to pay off my PayPal Credit account — and the payment bounced! I called the credit union, and said no attempt was made. They asked for the account number, and I told her I couldn’t see it, but the last 4 showed 2 numbers I didn’t put in — she said this shows in online banking to keep track of the accounts, but my account number for checking accounts is my member number with no suffix. Yodlee added the suffix from online. I then went to manually add the account with the 2 verification amounts — without the suffix — and it went through fine. The issue is that even though I’ve verified the account manually, PayPal still wants to use Yodlee when I go to use the account. This does not go through because the manual (correct) account number is different from the one that shows in online banking. At this point — I’m livid. PayPal has no clue — they don’t even know the difference between their Credit accounts and Mastercard account — let alone remove the bounce fee that their own software created by saving the wrong number. How do I blow out and disable this whole Yodlee BS from my account? I verified it manually... it went through. I’ve never had this sort of issue before. Not to mention — I’m not exactly thrilled to provide my banking info to some third party either. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
