Paying a paypal invoice direct with bank transfer

I have received a paypal invoice that states it has to be paid direct to an assigned paypal account via bank transfer.  Anyone else had this.  Is it genuine?

You can pay the PayPal invoice with bank account through your PayPal account. But I think their way of doing it is asking you to pay with a bank account minus a PayPal account so there is no PayPal purchase protection for you if something goes wrong. And there won't be a PayPal transaction in your account activity reflecting this transaction at all. Only in your bank account and at the mercy of any protections offered by your bank (probably none). Therefore you need to make a judgement call here.
