I made a large purchase via PayPal on my credit card and despite the debit hitting the card over a week ago it is still showing as a pending payment as well which is reducing my available credit by the same amount again. I have tried to contact PayPal using the text option but each time it asks me to select which transaction but fails to give me a list of transaction to select from, so I guess the only option is to phone. Has anyone else had this issue? Pending transactions should be removed once the debit comes through!
When you pay a company (rather than an ebay seller or individual), then it is often pending until that company processes your order and captures the pending payment.
If they don't process that order and capture the pending payment then the pending status times out at 30 days post-payment.
