Hello. I requested funds to be moved to my account from a 3rd party. Got a email from PayPal requesting information from me like email address etc, telling me if I don't give the details the money will not be given to me but returned to the sender in a month... Is this real? They also have the correct amount of money stated. Thanks

Hello @Dragonbile,
Welcome to the PayPal Community. I can definitely understand how it can be a bit confusing getting started with PayPal.
It sounds like you could be referring to an unclaimed payment. The most common reason for this is because of an unconfirmed email address or because you may not have opened a PayPal account yet. Here is a great Help Center article about Receiving Money Through PayPal.
I hope this answers your question.
Thank you.
