Refund for Volaris flight? (they changed the date without notification and aren't responsive)

Hi there,

 

On the 21st of June I booked a flight with Volaris to travel on the 16th of July (Mexico City to Los Angeles). This is an essential flight so I can return to my job in the USA.

 

Today (28th of June) I still hadn't received a confirmation. I tried calling a few times and couldn't get through to anyone. I found a service email and requested a booking confirmation. Without replying to my email, Volaris sent me a confirmation, However, the date is incorrect (19th of July). I tried to follow the link and it says "booking not found". They haven't responded to my subsequent email and the situation doesn't feel right (they didn't notify me of the change in itinerary and aren't communicating). I cannot fly on the 19th and I was very careful to book a flight before this date. 

 

I booked using Paypal- am I eligible for a refund? I feel so nervous and sick that I may have lost my money to a dodgy airline.
