Subscription payments won't work

Hello I can send payments okay via paypal like one off payments, although when I try and set up a payment subscription through the same payment method and the same company I have used in the past. All of a sudden I get this message

We're sorry, we couldn't set up your subscription using the funding source you've selected. Please try another funding source.

Any ideas?

Go to Account Settings > Payments > Manage Automatic Payments 

 

See if the merchant is listed, click on it and click Cancel. Then go back to the merchant and try to buy another subscription. Or change the payment method to another one. What is the funding source you are using? Bank account, credit card? PayPal Balance?

Thanks for your response maybe this is why? Its saying I have an outstanding balance on the subscription. See what I have done with this subscription is cancel it through paypal completely the monthly one, now I get that message above in my last post when I try now to purchase a yearly subscription with the same company. It does not give me an option though to pay this outstanding balance on the subscription ?Screen Shot 2018-11-29 at 04.27.15.png
