Hi, I have received an email from PayPal informing me that during my disbute with a seller a temp credit was added to my account and now that a refund has been issued, by the seller it is to be collected as an owned debit. After reviewing my activity in great detail, there is no entry to suggest or prove that this temp credit was applied by PayPal. I am now concerned that it will be withdrawn from my account incorrectly and but my balance into negative balance. With no clear email option to question the action what do I do pls?

When a refund is issued in general, it will go back to your funding source. Arrival times may vary:
- Bank account payments, 3-5 or 5-7 days, depending on your bank.
- Cards & PayPal Credit (aka billmelater) about a week, up to 30 days depending on your issuing card.
- PayPal balance, fairly instant.
- Split payments between PayPal balance and card/bank, see above.
So check your account for the arrival of the provisional refund.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
