Walmart Money Card Funds Sent To Secondary Email And Cannot Access Via PayPal

I had someone send me funds from a Walmart MoneyCard to my work email address by error.  I received the email from Green Dot with a button to collect funds which did not indicate which email address the funds were going to.  When I logged into PayPal the funds were not there.  I added the email address to my account and received an email from PayPal to confirm the email address but my password fails every time.  I spent 3 hours on the phone with support and they are insistent that I need to have the transaction cancelled by Walmart, yet Walmart insists that the transfer has been completed and there is nothing they can do as PayPal has possession of the funds.  I have been told that the secondary email address cannot be activated as it was used for a transaction with PayPal in the past.  I tried removing the email address so that I could attempt to open a new account with my work email, but I am getting an error that says I need to contact customer service.  At this point, PayPal is not assisting me further, yet they have my funds.  Has anyone else experienced this and what did you do to resolve?

No others have this issue?  What do I do if PayPal fails to return my funds?  Do I contact an attorney?
