Thank you for your post! If you have set PayPal Credit as your preferred payment method for that billing agreement and it's charging a backup payment method instead, then it sounds like the payment method is being declined at the time of the payment, potentially by our security system. If the security system determines that there is risk associated with the payment being made, it may rule out a specific payment method. If this is what's happening, it would not be possible to ensure that the PayPal Credit payment method always be used. It would however be possible to ensure that any payment methods that you don't wish to be considered as a backup not be used. If you view your billing agreement, you can shut off your bank, for instance, if you do not wish the bank to be the backup payment method. You do want to ensure that there are multiple available sources listed there that can be used, or the payment may fail and the billing agreement would become inactive.
