eCheque Pending

Hello everyone,

I am from Australia and I ordered some items from UK using paypal. For some reasons, it was paid by eCheques and it says I have to wait until 24th April to clear them out. I use Commonwealth bank from AU and if anyone experience a scenario, can you tell me how many days Paypal took from you to clear out (for this specific bank)? 

Also, is there any way to make this payment faster than that?

eCheques are super slow and cannot be sped up. PayPal initially informs the recipient via email when they have received an eCheque and to not ship until PayPal notifies them again when the eCheque is actually cleared and payment is in their PayPal account and ok to ship. The clearance dates are estimated but it should be clearing in the next couple to few days. The seller just has to wait until PayPal emails them that funds have cleared and it is ok to ship. If for some reason it doesn't clear, PayPal will inform the recipient of this as well and instruct them not to ship.

Hello .

I have refunded the buyer but refund is still pending because paypal used refund method with an echeque . To activity history i cant see the status of echeque.

I click activity at the top of the page.

i click on the refund transaction but i did not see echeque .

Where can i see echeque?

All bank transfer payments are echecks, the only time bank transfers are 'called instant' is when you are buying something and paypal credit the seller upfront and paypal wait for the echeck (electronic check) to clear from the bank account.

However if you are refunding paypal do not credit the recipient upfront and so its you that waits for the echeck to clear.
