Hello sometimes my payment gets declined by PayPal for security reasons. So I always contact customer support to fix this issue, sometimes they tell me to clear my cache, history and cookies. Can someone tell me please how does it help process the payment? What do these cookies do? Why is it helping and how? Thanks

Hello @shimon5757,

Thanks for reaching out! This is a great question. When you load a website, there are certain pieces of information cached / saved as a cookie in your browser. These cookies will then be referenced later on when you visit that site again to make it load faster. However, sometimes those cookies can be out-of-date, fragmented, or corrupted in some way. Sometimes it's good to clear out that history and cache to help that payment process through with the most up-to-date site information. However, this does not always fix the issue, sometimes it's a decline from our end because of certain security information our system evaluates. You can read more about those kind of declines here: My payment was declined. Why can’t I make or send a payment?

I hope that clears everything up! Have a great day,
