Google play gift card scam?

Someone made a bid on a item I was selling, I accepted, but the person said they couldn’t pay me by paypal and asked for my email and username and they would pay me. They also wanted me to buy a google gift card that they would include in payment. When I opened my email it said that $595 would be credited to my account as soon as I send a picture of the google play gift card being scratched for confirmation before shipping. I had a wiered feeling from the beginning that something wasn’t right. I just read about how the google play scam works and it said that people aske you to buy gift cards but ask you to send a picture of the code behind the scratched off part. So I’m going to tell this person that I’m not going to send them a pic of scratch off but will send them a pic of me in store buying the card and the front of it, HA! We will see what they say about that. I just wanted to let everyone know that they should be very aware before you go for it just because your so excited that someone was buying your item! Ask questions and research things before you take the bait!
