Help!

I’m trying to send money to someone I haven’t before.it just keeps saying they’re not in my contacts and nothing happens.help please!

Thank you for raising your concern through our community forum.

You can send money to anyone with an email address or mobile number.

To send money from the PayPal app:
1. Tap Send.
2. Enter the name, email or mobile number of the recipient and tap Next.
3. Type the amount you're sending and tap Next.
4. Choose your preferred payment method and tap Next.
5. Review the information and tap Send now.

To send money from a desktop:
1. Go to Send & Request.
2. Enter the email address or mobile number for the person concerned and click Next.
3. Select whether this is to pay a friend, or pay for a purchase.
3.1. If you're sending money to a friend or family member, select 'Sending to a friend'.
3.2. If you're buying something, select 'Paying for an item or a service'.
4. Type the amount and click Continue.
5. Review and confirm the information on the screen and click Send Money Now.
